HIGH COST OF MEDICAL INDEMNITY IN THE UK

I remember many many  years ago, reading  about how prohibitively expensive it was for an O&G specialist to get him\herself indemnified in the US. Until I read this letter from the Chief Executive of the MPS (Medical Protection Society), that was included with my annual renewal subscription,  I had no idea that the situation now applies to the UK.
As the letter suggests, this is unsustainable and any potential changes could be unpalatable. A debate must start somewhere and start soon.
